I’m one of those gazillion people who applied to USNA multiple times, but never made the cut, for whatever reason. As things worked out, a High School classmate of mind did make it, and several other candidates from my High School also made it in the following years….but never me. I guess I should have kept my big mouth shut 😉
In any case, I have long rooted for, followed, watched, or just otherwise keep track of things pertaining to the United States Naval Academy. One of the things I have noted over the years is the lack of a sustaining web presence of websites in support of folks associated with USNA. Some websites have gone dark (usna.org), and some look like they have been abandoned (usna-parents.org). My hope is to keep this site going with helpful information other folks like me that are looking for information about all things USNA can reference. I hope to have a large section for those who are looking to attend USNA, full of things to do (and not do) if you want to be competitive in gaining admittance. Equally I hope to provide a large section for parents to reference while their Midshipman are attending USNA, and how to best support them.
